Motorista – EU-INPTA (Governance & Civil Society Support)

About the role

Plan International in Guinea-Bissau is looking for a reliable driver to support its EU-INPTA governance and civil-society initiatives. The driver will ensure safe, efficient and timely transport of staff, equipment and materials between the organisation’s offices and field sites.

Key responsibilities

• Transport programme staff, partners and beneficiaries to project locations and meetings.
• Deliver and collect project-related goods, supplies and equipment.
• Maintain the vehicle(s) in good working order, conduct routine checks and arrange servicing.
• Plan routes, manage travel schedules and accommodate up to 40 % travel as required.
• Comply with Plan International’s Gender Policy, Child Protection and Safeguarding policies and report any concerns immediately.
• Keep accurate mileage, fuel and maintenance records.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence recognised in Guinea-Bissau.
• Proven experience driving in local conditions, including rural areas.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel frequently.
• Commitment to child protection, gender equality and organisational code of conduct.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence.

• Navigation and route planning.
• Record-keeping for mileage, fuel and maintenance.
