Software Engineer Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer Annotator to work remotely on improving software engineering datasets used to train AI and large language models. You will apply your programming expertise to evaluate AI‑generated code, label various coding tasks, and provide feedback that enhances model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software engineering datasets for AI training, focusing on code correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.
• Label datasets covering code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization scenarios.
• Compare multiple AI‑generated code responses and rank them based on accuracy and usefulness.
• Provide structured feedback to AI trainers and data teams to improve model outputs.
• Ensure all annotations follow established guidelines and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Prior experience with data annotation, AI training, or code review is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and the software development lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language models is an advantage.
