AI Trainer – LLM & Generative AI Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AI Trainer to help shape the next generation of large language models and generative AI systems. Working remotely, you will collaborate with engineers and product teams to create high‑quality training data, evaluate model behavior, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage end‑to‑end training pipelines, including supervised fine‑tuning, RLHF, and red‑team exercises.
• Develop complex prompt templates and testing scenarios across coding, creative writing, reasoning, and multilingual tasks.
• Define rubrics for output quality and maintain documentation of model behavior.
• Analyze failures, bias, hallucinations, and logical errors to identify root causes.
• Create “golden datasets” that set performance standards for specific domains.
• Guide junior trainers and annotators, ensuring consistency across a global team.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product managers to translate research goals into actionable annotation tasks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose improvements to annotation tools and platforms.
• Generate high‑quality synthetic data to augment training sets for niche scenarios.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical field such as software engineering or computer science.
• Strong analytical ability to dissect complex problems and spot patterns in data.
• Comfortable reading technical papers and staying up‑to‑date with AI safety research.
• Proven track record of using data analysis or metrics to justify training decisions.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and shift between technical and creative tasks.
