Senior Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Associate to support its mission in Guinea‑Bissau. Reporting to the Supply Chain Officer and under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, you will help ensure that goods and services reach beneficiaries efficiently, cost‑effectively, and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Officer in day‑to‑day procurement, logistics and asset‑management activities.
• Coordinate with national and international service providers, vendors and partners.
• Support the preparation and monitoring of contracts, purchase orders and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records in line with IOM/UN procurement and logistics rules.
• Contribute to training and capacity‑building initiatives for the supply‑chain team.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field with at least four years of relevant experience, OR high‑school diploma with six years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics and asset‑management processes.
• Familiarity with IOM/UN procurement and logistics procedures is an advantage.
• Experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
