About the role

The Operations Supervisor will oversee maritime, road, rail, and tank transfer activities at a liquid bulk terminal. The role ensures compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and client requirements while driving performance through data‑based indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maritime, road, rail operations and tank‑to‑tank transfers.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures, legal regulations, standards, best practices, and client specifications.
• Develop, monitor, and report operational performance indicators and utility consumption (nitrogen, electricity, water, LPG, compressed air).
• Guarantee proper functioning of operational and safety equipment such as tanks, pumps, radars, pipelines, compressors, hoses, generators, and related accessories.
• Coordinate with maintenance to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for critical equipment.
• Collaborate with support areas to maintain equipment that underpins operational activities.
• Guide and develop Lead Operators in people management and resource administration.
• Investigate and analyze deviations, work accidents, process incidents, and environmental events; ensure corrective action plans are implemented.
• Create action plans to address indicator deviations and non‑conformities.
• Identify significant aspects, impacts, hazards, and unacceptable risks within the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• Completed higher education in Chemical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Intermediate English language skills (preferred).
• Experience in operational planning.
