Digital Impact Assistant – ICT Support (UNICEF)

About the role

The Digital Impact Assistant will support UNICEF’s ICT environment in Guinea‑Bissau, ensuring reliable desktop and server operations and assisting users with digital tools. This position contributes to the organization’s mission of providing digital opportunities for every child.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine desktop administration and server operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain ICT system components.
• Provide user orientation, technical support, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical and user documentation.
• Serve as focal point for user requests and issue resolution.
• Support digital innovation initiatives, AI‑enabled tools, and field connectivity solutions.

Required profile

• Secondary education with formal training in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or Engineering.
• Five years of practical IT experience, including systematic troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
• Experience delivering technical and business customer support services.
• Fluency in English and French.
