Driver – Safe Transportation & Administrative Support

About the role

The Driver is responsible for the safe and reliable transport of authorized personnel, as well as handling cargo, mail and administrative support tasks. The role requires professionalism, courtesy and the ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation of personnel, cargo and hazardous goods, including airport pick‑up and customs assistance.
• Collect and deliver mail, documents and other items as required.
• Maintain accurate daily vehicle logs and support maintenance planning.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, minor repairs and ensure vehicles remain clean and roadworthy.
• Keep all required documentation, insurance, registration and safety equipment up to date.
• Respond promptly to accidents in line with organisational procedures.
• Assist administrative services with procurement, inventory management and minor facility repairs.
• Monitor office equipment performance and coordinate utility service follow‑up.

Required profile

• Secondary school (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with no experience required.
• Valid driver’s licence and completed driver’s training.
• Demonstrated experience in safe and defensive driving, minor vehicle repair and knowledge of traffic regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural or humanitarian environments is desirable.
