Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst – Gender Focus

About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Analyst will support the Anti‑Corruption Project in Guinea‑Bissau, ensuring that project activities are tracked, evaluated, and reported with a strong gender‑responsive lens. The role works closely with the project team, government partners, and civil‑society actors to generate evidence that drives effective interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the project’s M&E framework, including annual reviews, participatory impact assessments, and process monitoring.
• Collect, clean, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data on project outputs, outcomes, and gender‑related results.
• Prepare regular monitoring reports, dashboards, and lessons‑learned workshops for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development of secure whistle‑blower protection mechanisms and community‑based awareness activities.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Justice, law‑enforcement agencies, and CSOs to ensure data quality and timely reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, or a related field.
• Experience in M&E for development or anti‑corruption projects, preferably with a gender focus.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a multicultural, multi‑stakeholder environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in designing M&E plans and indicators.
• Experience with data collection tools and basic statistical analysis.
• Ability to produce clear, concise reports and visualisations.
