Remote Script Writer (Full-Time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Script Writer to develop engaging narratives for a variety of digital media, including YouTube videos, commercials, television spots and other campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready scripts that reflect our brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Collaborate with directors, producers and creative staff to brainstorm story ideas, themes and character development.
• Conduct in‑depth research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and control pacing to advance plot and define character personalities.
• Participate in script readings, incorporate feedback and revise scripts as needed.
• Maintain consistent storytelling and format all scripts according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film or a related field (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to pitch concepts and accept constructive criticism.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style for different audiences and project requirements.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of scripts or produced work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx or Fade In.
