Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a seasoned Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role will focus on developing space and geospatial markets, fostering innovation, and preparing ventures for investment across African and European ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analyses and feasibility studies for space and geospatial sectors in Africa and the EU.
• Design and implement innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Support commercialization pathways and improve investment readiness of space‑related startups.
• Facilitate access to finance by connecting stakeholders with funding opportunities.
• Provide strategic advice on policy dialogue, institutional partnerships and private‑sector engagement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory in technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience working on space or geospatial markets, including market studies and investment readiness.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
• Familiarity with African space markets and investment ecosystems is a plus.
